You could say that I have always been in the real estate business. My parents owned rentals and flipped houses for as long as I can remember. Family dinners always contained some kind of real estate talk between my parents. I grew up knowing I wanted to buy a house. At the age of 15 I went out, got a job and started saving for that goal. When it came time to go to college (University of Wisconsin) I chose not to live in the dorms; I wanted my own place. I started prospecting for properties and bought my first home when I was 19, a tiny little 760 square feet house to call my own. I bought my second house six years later and rented my cute little house to a friend. My second house required a ton of renovation but with a bit of elbow grease and help from my parents with cleaning, flooring and kitchen/bathroom remodels, my house was amazing and exactly what I wanted. When I moved to Bradenton I sold my properties in Wisconsin and bought a home here. Again it was a fixer-upper, but it now is almost perfect.
