A native of Massachusetts, Mike Parsons learned at an early age that the cold New England winters were not for him. Since his youth days, he has lived in six other states (NC, VA, IN, TX, MO, FL), moved too many times to mention, and has worked as a soccer coach in every part of the country. The recent change to the real estate profession seemed to be logical with a background that required finding new places to live and sorting out the many details of life necessary to adapt to living in new places.
Mike holds a Master’s degree in physical education from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro and was an assistant coach as the school earned their first national championship in 1982. Internationally, Parsons has experienced the culture in Mexico, Holland, Germany, Italy, Canada, New Zealand, Spain, England, and Bermuda. Coaching stints at Notre Dame, Penn State, and Stetson along with Director of Coaching positions with the National Soccer Coaches Association and the state of Texas have kept him busy working with people - coaches, players and families – throughout his first career. He intends to use the skills set necessary to help people become successful in athletics to assist people to find their match in real estate.
The Florida lifestyle suits Mike just fine – “there is nothing better than smelling the salt air, listening to the ocean and feeling the warm tropical breezes after a long day at work or an entire week on the beach. The state of Florida is a great place to call home!”
