Until 2017, Shane Crawford spent his entire career in the public sector. He was the youngest elected official ever in the state of Wisconsin in 1997 when he was elected to the City Commission of La Crosse, WI while he attended the University of Wisconsin--La Crosse. The following year, he ran for a County Commission seat for La Crosse County and won that election as well. By 1999, Shane achieved a double undergrad degree in Public Administration and Political Science while holding 2 elected offices. In 2000, Buffalo County, WI., hired Shane as their County Administrator. From there he was recruited to Walworth County, WI., and later was the result of a nationwide recruitment by the City of Madeira Beach, FL., to be their City Manager. When things ended in Madeira Beach in 2017, a private sector recruitment got his attention and he's currently the Vice President of Compliance and Securities for a corporation located in Clearwater, FL. Shane enjoys real estate and enjoys teaming up with his wife Cheryl. They experienced early success in their first year (2020) and continue to earn C21 awards in that regard. Shane prides himself on being "versed" in local government and their processes but enjoys the advantages that the private sector provides for.
